National Public School, Yeshwanthpur, hosted an insightful awareness session on ‘Rabies Prevention and Public Health’. Resource person Dr. Nidaghatta Gangadhar, a renowned public health expert, conducted an interactive session to equip students with life-saving knowledge regarding animal safety and rabies prevention. During his talk, Dr. Gangadhar shared practical strategies on understanding animal behaviour, immediate wound-washing procedures and the importance of timely post-exposure vaccination. To reinforce these safety concepts, students performed a creative street play highlighting post-bite protocols and dispelling common myths. The event concluded with an address by Principal Ma'am, a formal Vote of Thanks and the presentation of a token of gratitude to Dr. Gangadhar. Overall, the session was highly educational and well-received by the school community.
