AVID READERS

Class: 1 to 8 & Date: 7 and 29 August 2024,

The Department of Library, National Public School, Yeshwanthpur recognises students as AVID READERS, acknowledging their love for reading and inspiring others to follow their footsteps.
The students were assessed based on their level of interest in reading, participation in reading activities, comprehension level, story summarisation, and also maintaining the decorum of the library. The primary aim for students in reading is to develop critical thinking and analytical skills thereby enhancing academic success and laying the foundation for future career advancement.
On Thursday, 13 February 2025 and Tuesday, 25 February 2025, the students of Classes 1 to 8 were conferred with an Avid Reader Badge as an acknowledgement for their reading skills. The Principal, Ms Sheeja Manoj Ma’am felicitated the students for their active interests in reading books and advised students to focus on improving their vocabulary through reading, thereby enhancing their communication skills.
