Poster making and Pick-n-Speak

Class: 11 & Date: 08 JUNE 2023

The Eco association organised a poster making and ‘Pick-n-Speak’ competition for the students of class 11 on 08 June 2023. The theme of the competition was ‘Retrieving Lake Bed Soil’.
The participants designed posters enthusiastically and exhibited their creative skills through their art work. It was a delightful sight to watch the young minds collaborate, create and display their ideas on paper. It was followed by ‘Pick-n-Speak’ and PowerPoint presentation. This competition gave the students an opportunity to enhance quick thinking and oratory skills. Students were given an extended opportunity to explore and improve their awareness about the effects of Lake Bed Soil depletion on ecosystem, agriculture, infrastructure, economy and climate change.
The Principal Ms Sheeja Manoj, addressed the students and highlighted the importance of reading books and newspapers to expand their horizon of knowledge. The students thoroughly enjoyed the activity and it proved to be a valuable learning experience.
