Plant a Seed

Class: 6 & Date: 13 June 2026

As part of the Eco Club`s initiative, the students of Class 6 enthusiastically participated in the ‘Eco Pen Making’ activity under the theme ‘Write Green, Grow Green – Promoting Sustainability Through Eco-Friendly Innovation’. The activity aimed at raising awareness about environmental conservation by encouraging students to create eco-friendly pens using recycled and biodegradable materials. As part of the Eco Club initiative, Class 6 students enthusiastically participated in the activity "Plant a Seed" under the theme "Adopt Healthy Food Practices." The objective of the activity was to create awareness about healthy eating habits and encourage students to understand the importance of growing their own food.
Students planted seeds of various vegetables and herbs in pots and recycled containers. Through this hands-on activity, they learned about the process of germination, plant care, and the benefits of consuming fresh, home-grown produce. The activity also helped foster a sense of responsibility towards nature and sustainable living.
The students showed great enthusiasm and commitment, making the activity both educational and enjoyable. It was a meaningful step towards promoting healthy food choices and environmental consciousness among young learners.
