GENERAL SCIENCE CCA

Classes: 3-5 Date: 20,21 & 22 August 2025

The Department of General Science organised the Inter-House CCA activities for Classes 3 to 5 on Wednesday, 20 August, Thursday, 21 August, and Friday, 22 August 2025. The theme for the event was eco-friendly puppetry, where students showcased their creativity and scientific understanding through innovative puppet presentations.
Class 3 students highlighted the theme of coexistence in nature, demonstrating the interdependence of living and non-living things. Their presentations instilled an appreciation for nature and emphasised the importance of interdependence of living organisms.
Class 4 participants depicted animal and plant adaptations in their natural habitats with remarkable creativity. They explored various ecosystems and reflected on the significance of preserving biodiversity through their performance.
Class 5 students presented thought-provoking puppet show on different types of pollution with their prevention and remedies. Their performances encouraged critical thinking and spread awareness about the environmental impact of pollution, along with practical solutions to address it.
The competition proved to be a resounding success, promoting interactive learning, scientific inquiry, and creativity. It not only deepened students’ understanding of key scientific concepts but also fostered a sense of environmental responsibility and sustainable practices.
