Topic: Festive Traditions Showcase

The students of Class 1 enthusiastically participated in the Hindi Inter-House CCA Competition held on Friday, 18 September 2026. The theme of the competition was ‘Festive Traditions Showcase’. The activity aimed to introduce students to the rich cultural diversity of India while developing their communication, presentation and creative expression skills.
In the preliminary round of the competition, students spoke a few lines about any one state of India. This activity helped enhance their confidence, Hindi speaking skills, communication skills and knowledge of India's rich cultural diversity.
The final round, held on 18 September 2026, witnessed the finalists creatively dressed according to their respective states, confidently sharing interesting facts about their state's culture, traditions, festivals, food, attire and heritage. The students also used beautifully crafted and colourful props, which added charm and creativity to their presentations. The activity provided a wonderful platform for students to express themselves, build confidence, enhance their Hindi communication skills and deepen their understanding of India's rich cultural diversity in a fun, engaging and interactive manner.
