The Pictures Parlance and Comedy Relay

Class: 6-8 & Date: 15 & 22 December 2025

Junior Literary Association, National Public School, Yeshwanthpur, successfully conducted association activities titled ‘The Pictures’ Parlance’ and ‘Comedy Relay’ on 15 December 2025 and 22 December 2025 respectively, as part of its inter-house cultural initiatives, encouraging creativity, linguistic versatility and collaborative performance among students.
In the first phase, participants observed pictures displayed on the IP Panel and wrote a short story within 15 minutes in English, Hindi, Kannada or Sanskrit. Based on set criteria, teachers shortlisted the final round participants.
The selected students then participated in a team-based comedy relay performance, where teams of 3–4 members presented humorous acts incorporating all four languages. Each team was given 4+1 minutes to perform, ensuring smooth transitions, originality and appropriate content.
The top two teams were selected by the judges. The activity was lively and engaging, providing students with an excellent platform to showcase creativity, multilingual ability and collaborative skills.
