MOOT COURT - 2026

On Friday, 19 June 2026, National Public School, Yeshwanthpur hosted an in-house Moot Court session, providing students with an immersive simulation of judicial proceedings. Participants were organized into teams representing either the plaintiff or the defendant, engaging in rigorous legal discourse across five thoughtfully curated cases spanning constitutional, criminal, civil and contract law.
The proceedings showcased the students’ impressive legal acumen, critical thinking and analytical prowess as they articulated well-reasoned arguments and defended their positions with confidence and precision. Designed to replicate the dynamics of a real courtroom, the event offered invaluable experiential learning, fostering a deeper appreciation of the Indian legal system while honing essential advocacy, oratory and argumentative skills.

The competing teams were assessed on a comprehensive set of parameters, including the depth of their legal reasoning, accuracy in the interpretation and application of legal principles, cogency and clarity of arguments, effectiveness of presentation, adherence to courtroom etiquette and their aptitude in addressing judicial queries with composure and persuasiveness. The Moot Court session served as a compelling platform for intellectual engagement, enabling students to cultivate the skills and professionalism integral to the legal profession.
