POWER POINT PRESENTATION AND QUIZ

As part of National Space Day 2025 celebration, Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum (VITM), Bengaluru, organised an engaging and educational competitions titled ‘Skies Then and Now – Ancient vs Modern Sky Challenge’ for students of Classes 8 to 10 and ‘Remember the Sky – The Constellation Memory Challenge’ for students of Classes 5 to 7 on 23 August 2025, Saturday.
In the competition ‘Skies Then and Now – Ancient vs Modern Sky Challenge’, the team presented a powerpoint presentation on star maps over the centuries, nomenclature of the constellations in various civilizations, the constellations in the Indian calendar systems, etc. During ‘Remember the Sky – The Constellation Memory Challenge,’ participants were briefly shown constellation outlines and characters before taking a quiz.
The competition encouraged participants to showcase their originality, creativity, and ingenuity by producing distinctive and attention-grabbing creations. It cultivated vital values, especially cooperation and teamwork. Participants developed essential social skills, such as clear communication, mutual trust and shared responsibility.
