Making of a Robot (Mathematics)

Classes 3-5 & 4 November 2022

Students of Classes 3 to 5 participated in making a robot using 3 D shapes as a part of their CCA, that was held on Friday, 4 November 2022. It was conducted house wise wherein the finalists of different houses competed with the others in making a 3 D model of a robot.
Students used various 3 D shapes in designing the robots. The activity reinforced the skill of students in identifying and using various 3 D shapes. The finalists of different houses from various sections worked together proactively in designing the model in a stipulated time and spoke about the robot created by them. This activity has helped the students learn to
• make creations of 3 D shapes
• work in teams
• manage time judiciously
