CLASS: 11 C & 12 C Date: 25 SEPTEMBER 2026

The students of Classes 11 and 12 Commerce of NPS Yeshwanthpur, visited Britannia Industries Limited as part of their educational trip on Friday 25 September 2026. The purpose of the visit was to help students gain a practical understanding of the production process and the students observed how raw materials such as wheat, oil and other ingredients are processed through various mechanised machines. They were different stages involved in the production process, from mixing and preparation of the ingredients to baking and finally packing the finished products.
The students gained insights into the role of machinery and human labour in the manufacturing process. Overall, it was an informative and enriching experience for the students. It helped them connect their classroom learning with real-world business with production practices and gave them a better understanding of how a large-scale manufacturing company operates.
