‘Aero modelling workshop ’

Class: 9 & 11 Date: 27 JANUARY 2024

The students of grades 9 and 11 of National Public School, Yeshwanthpur went on an IISc visit to participate in Aero modelling workshop on Saturday, 27 January 2024. The event began with a tour of the IISc Campus. Students went around the campus and got acquainted with various departments. Students were directed to the Aero modelling workshop. The workshop displayed building models of the Wright Flyer III, a revision of the first aircraft ever made, named after its inventors, the Wright Brothers. They were given a kit and guided by the organisers in making a model of the aircraft. It was a fun and engaging activity and the end result looked nothing short of magnificent. Students were also given T-shirts as a mark of participation.
It was a very informative and enjoyable visit and the experience enriched the students.
