‘Open Day Event ’

National Public School Yeshwantpur had organised a visit to Indian Institute of Science for the students of Class 8 for the ‘Open Day’ event by IISc on Saturday, 24 February 2024. The event showcased the institute's activities to the public and students.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore the Institute's campus and engage with its exciting science and technology initiatives. They were able to interact with faculty, students and research scholars from different departments, gaining valuable insights into ongoing projects and research endeavours. The students participated in live demonstrations and experiments, gaining hands-on experience and delving into various fields such as Nano Science and Engineering (CENSE), Biology, Aerospace, Chemistry, Physics and Neuro Sciences. These interactions not only enriched their knowledge but also sparked their curiosity and enthusiasm for Science.
Overall, the visit to the Indian Institute of Science was highly informative and enjoyable for the students, who returned with a wealth of knowledge and a newfound appreciation for the world of science and technology.
