‘Field Trip to Big Barn Farm’

National Public School, Yeshwanthpur organized a field trip for the students of Class 4 who embarked on an exciting and fun-filled educational journey to Big Barn Farm on Tuesday, 12 September 2023.
The objective of the field trip was designed to enhance classroom learning by providing students with real –world experiences that reinforced what they have been taught in class.
Well organized games gave a good start for the fun filled day. Students were divided into groups and were engaged in different activities such as animal barn-feeding, fish feeding, petting of animals, tractor ride and nature walk. Sowing seeds in pots was a good experiential learning to learn the basics of gardening and germination of seeds.
The farm offered a view of greenery with the beauty and vitality of the natural world. It was home to a variety of farm animals that provided unique experience. Overall, it was an enriching experience for our students. This trip promoted environmental awareness and conservation. It allowed them to connect with nature, gain a deeper understanding of feeding habits of farm animals. It also encouraged social interaction among students, helping them build relationships and develop teamwork skills.
