Bagless Day
Class: 6 to 8 Date: 4, 5 & 6 November 2025
National Public School, Yeshwanthpur, recently organised a series of Bagless Days for students of Classes 6 to 8, designed to promote experiential learning and creativity. Throughout these days, students enthusiastically participated in a wide range of hands-on activities, including science experiments, art and craft sessions, interactive storytelling, panel discussions, math-based games, and environmental awareness projects. By setting aside textbooks and conventional classroom materials, students were able to engage more deeply in the learning process, fostering collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills within an enjoyable and stimulating environment.
Each grade explored a unique theme that enriched their learning journey—Class 6 delved into ‘Making a Living,’ Class 7 focused on ‘A Sustainable Future,’ and Class 8 explored ‘Forces of Nature and Beyond.’ The activities were thoughtfully designed to connect classroom concepts with real-world applications. Students showcased their creativity through collage making, art parades, debates and PowerPoint presentations, along with various theme-based exhibitions and model displays. The school premises came alive with vibrant artwork, insightful discussions and innovative projects that reflected the students’ understanding and imagination. Teachers guided reflective sessions to help students analyse their learnings and express their ideas effectively. The enthusiasm, teamwork and artistic flair displayed by the students made the Bagless Days a truly lively, enriching and memorable experience for everyone.
