E-Waste Management

Class: 8 Date: 10 November 2025

The IEEE PES Student Branch of BMS Institute of Technology and Management organised an E-Waste Management Awareness Drive at National Public School, Yeshwanthpur on Monday, 11 November 2025 for Class 8 students. The session aimed to educate students about the rising issue of electronic waste, its environmental and social impacts, and the importance of responsible disposal practices. Through interactive discussions and creative activities, students explored ways to reduce, reuse and recycle electronic devices. The poster-making activity encouraged them to express their ideas about sustainability through art and imagination, making learning both engaging and meaningful.
It also emphasised the role of young minds in building a sustainable future. It stands as a successful step toward promoting environmental responsibility and inspiring continued efforts toward a cleaner, greener planet.
