PROFITABILITY VS SUSTAINABILITY

The students of class 12C presented their class assembly on the topic through a skit ‘Profitability Vs Sustainability’ highlighting the challenge businesses face in balancing financial success with social and environmental responsibility. Using the fast fashion industry as an example, it demonstrated how the pursuit of short-term profits can often conflict with sustainable practices.
Through characters representing businesses, consumers, workers, environmental advocates and future generations, the skit showed how business decisions affected different stakeholders. The central message reiterated that true business success lied in combining profitability with social responsibility and sustainability.
