TOPIC: THE BALANCE SHEET OF PLAY

Class:- 8D Date:07/09/2026 and 08/09/2026

The students of Class 8D presented an assembly on the theme “Traditional and Digital Games” on 7th and 8th September 2026. The presentation encouraged the audience to reflect on the role of games in our daily lives and the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between traditional play and the digital world.
The assembly highlighted the value of both traditional and digital games. Traditional games provide opportunities for physical activity, laughter, stamina, teamwork and real-world bonding. Digital games, on the other hand, can develop strategy, creativity and global connectivity when used appropriately.
The presentation also conveyed an important message about responsible use of technology. Technology itself is not the enemy, nor does progress require us to reject the modern world. The challenge lies in setting healthy boundaries so that excessive screen time does not affect our posture, strain our eyes or isolate us from the friends and people around us. AS the curtains closed on the performance, the students left the audience with a simple golden rule: enjoy the pixels, but never forget the playground.
