Sustainable Development through Green Technology

Students of Class 9D presented their assembly on the topic “Sustainable Development through Green Technology” on Tuesday, 14 June 2022. They promoted sustainable development as the peace policy for future.
Advocating the motto “Practice what you Preach”, the students baked edible plates, cups and spoons out of flour, water and salt and showcased the cutlery through a skit. The satirical skit, “Green Tank” a spoof on the popular TV programme “Shark Tank” explained the making, usage and durability of this edible cutlery. The skit was followed by a meaningful song “Ek soch hai jaagi” which conveyed the power of innovative ideas in changing the world to a greener future.
Additionally, the students even made this edible cutlery out of a variety of flavours such as sweet shrikhand, tangy pizza, spicy cumin etc. A set of the edible cutlery was gifted to the Principals, who appreciated the theme and encouraged the students to contribute in making sustainable development, a reality in future.
