“Mother Earth is a unique and spectacular marvel in which humans, plants and animals lead lives to sustain each other”. A special assembly on the topic ‘Save Earth, Save Ourselves’ was conducted at National Public School, Yeshwanthpur on the occasion of World Environment Day by the students of Class-9E to demonstrate the support and concern for Environmental protection. It highlighted the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment on earth and conserving its resources. The assembly began with a speech on how the human impact on our planet Earth has altered the living world. Students stressed on the fact that protecting our planet is the call of the hour. Using props and placards they showcased the solutions to restore stability to our planet followed by a meaningful song ‘Duniyan ke parvah hai hame’ that conveyed the message “By saving our mother Earth, we can save ourselves”. The efforts of the students was applauded by our Principals and urged them to be more responsible towards the environment. A truly successful endeavour!
