Visited U R Rao Satellite Centre

Class: 11A and 11B DATE OF EVENT: 04 OCTOBER 2024

On 4th October 2024, the students of class 11A and 11B visited U R Rao Satellite Centre, Bangalore, the tracking centre of ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC). Students got to witness the 32m DNS antenna, NAVIC control room and the models of all the rockets after which they attended insightful lectures from distinguished speakers.
Dr B R Ramakrishna-Director of ISTRAC gave a speech on how ocean affects climate change. Prof.Sunil Kumar Singh and Dr Srimasa Rao talked about climate change and its effects.
Lastly students witnessed a delightful and informative play on the great Physicist Richard Feynman’s life.
It was a very informative and enjoyable visit and the experience enriched the students.
