One Nation, Billion Shades

Class: 11A Date: 05 August 2025

On 05 August 2025, the students of class 11 A presented a vibrant and meaningful class assembly titled ‘One Nation, Billion Shades’ , celebrating the incredible unity in diversity of our motherland, India. The skit unfolded through the eyes of a curious foreigner, who initially viewed India as a land of confusion and contradictions. However, guided by Bharat Mata herself, embarks on a journey across the cultural tapestry of India. Through a series of well-choreographed dialogues, costumes and multilingual presentations, representatives from five diverse states — Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, West Bengal, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu — showcased their unique traditions, languages, festivals and heritage. Each performance was delivered with bilingual narration, blending regional flavour with broader understanding. The transformation in the perception of the foreigner— from skepticism to admiration — echoed the core message of the assembly: India's strength lies in its diversity.
