Mental Health Awareness
Class: 11B Date: 09 October 2025
The students of class 11 B presented the class assembly on Thursday, 09 October 2025 on the topic ‘Mental Health Awareness’ to commemorate mental health day on 10th October initiated by the World Federation for Mental Health [WFMH] in 1992. It aimed to raise mental health awareness, reduce stigma and encourage seeking support from trusted individuals.
The assembly opened with the message that no mind should struggle alone or in silence, highlighting the hidden mental health struggles of students. It stressed the importance of kindness and empathy, reminding us to support peers who may be silently suffering. The assembly continued with a pledge, where all students promised to value mental health services, especially for the vulnerable, to listen without judgment and to advocate for mental health. They committed to helping those in need and being part of positive change. This was followed by a simple quiz to test and build mental health awareness among the students.
The assembly successfully spread awareness and fostered sensitivity towards mental health in our community.
