Timeless Epic Ramayana
Class: 9B Date: 17 & 19 September 2025
Students of Class 9B presented an assembly on the timeless epic Ramayana, focusing on the Ayodhya Kanda. The presentation highlighted two pivotal moments — the joyous marriage of Lord Rama and Sita and the sorrowful departure of Rama from Ayodhya to the forest, caused by the manipulation of Queen Kaikeyi by her maid Manthara.
The assembly began with an introduction that emphasized the values of truth, sacrifice and devotion upheld in the Ramayana. A profound shloka was shared as the thought for the day, setting the spiritual tone for the program. This was followed by a graceful dance performance that beautifully narrated the contrasting emotions of celebration and exile, leaving the audience both inspired and deeply moved. The presentation conveyed the timeless message that true greatness lies in upholding dharma, even in the face of sorrow and sacrifice. The performance was well received, leaving the audience moved by the timeless values of the Ramayana.
