Gratitude

Class: 3E Date: 29 November 2023

“Gratitude is the inward feeling of kindness received. Thankfulness is the natural impulse to express that feelings. Thanksgiving is the following of that impulse”

The students of Class 3E presented their assembly on the topic, ‘Gratitude’ on Wednesday, 29 November 2023. The students performed a well scripted ‘Thought for the Day’ and expressed the significance of being thankful in different languages –Tamil, Sanskrit, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi and Hindi that included quotes by great personalities and proverbs along with English translations.
The enthusiastic, talented students danced to the rhythm of the song, ‘I like to think about the goodness of the lord’. The dance performance was harmonised with the singing by the vocalists- their classmates.
Practicing gratitude is a very powerful tool to shift your attention from the things you don’t have, to the things you have and this alone will make you feel better, was reflected in their performance.
