‘Patriotism’

‘‘Patriotism is not in waving the flag, but in striving that our country shall be righteous as well as strong.’’
Patriotism is a strong affection towards one’s nation. Indian freedom struggle is the best example of patriotism. The history of Indian freedom struggle is replete with many patriots who never gave it a second thought before sacrificing their lives and belongings for the freedom of the motherland.
The students of Class 4A presented their assembly on the topic, ’Patriotism’ on Thursday, 10 August 2023 and Friday, 11 August 2023. The assembly commenced with a brief introduction about patriotism. To exhibit the love for their motherland, the students have presented a patriotic song. Subodh Dikshith, portrayed the character of Bhagat singh through a mesmerizing Mono Act. The assembly concluded with a beautiful rendition of Mridangam by Sukruth.
