YOGA FOR HEALTH
Class: 5A Date: 25 June 2024
The students of Class 5A presented a special assembly on the theme "Yoga for Health" to emphasise the importance of physical and mental well-being through yoga. The assembly started with introduction of the topic "Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” and a thought for the day.
The students performed various yoga asanas that encourages balance, promotes spine flexibility and coordination. This assembly aimed to teach the importance of mindfulness and relaxation in reducing stress and enhancing mental health. This engaging and informative presentation left an indelible mark on the young audience, inspiring them to make healthier choices thereby fostering a community of well-rounded and mindful individuals.
